ABOUT LONGSHORE CYCLE CENTER - FLORENCE, AL

The founder of Longshore Cycle Center has always been a motorcycle enthusiast and even raced motocross in the sixties and seventies. In 1970 he accepted a sales rep position for Triumph before going to work for Kawasaki three years later. In March of 1975, Jim Longshore purchased Honda Four-Cities on Florence Blvd. The original store quickly outgrew the small location, and in 1977 moved to our current location. Longshore Honda continued to grow with the addition of Suzuki in 1977. Then in 1980 Yamaha was added, followed by Kawasaki in 1988, and finally Sea-Doo in 1991. The addition of ATV's and personal watercraft accelerated the growth of the business. In April 2008, Jim went into semi-retirement and transferred ownership to his sons. Brian and Tom Longshore have both worked in the business for over 15 years and are committed to customer satisfaction and growth. We understand your passion because it is ours too! We want to hear about your great rides on your bike, or how you did in your last race. Almost everyone here rides and we are in the business because we are enthusiasts, not enthusiasts because we are in the business!
