Yamaha of Killeen, Inc. (doing business as "Texas Motor Sports") was founded and organized in the fall of 1972 by Robert L. (Bob) Bearden as a way to have fun with his 5 children. We opened our doors on April 16, 1973 in a converted lumber yard on Business Highway 190 in Killeen. We operated there for 35 years, still under the same family ownership. As an 82nd Airborne soldier and ex-P.O.W. who jumped on D-Day at Normandy during WWII, our father was emphatic about the way we treated our customers, especially the military. Although our father passed away in August of 2017, the mission "to provide the very best products at fair prices, and back it with excellent service" continues.
