Our BLU CRU Basic Off-Road Training programs are designed to help riders of all skill levels build confidence, develop essential techniques, and experience the thrill of riding—safely and professionally guided by passionate Yamaha Coaches.
Whether you're brand new or looking to sharpen your skills, we take the guesswork out of getting started. From foundational riding techniques to real-world trail confidence, you’ll gain the knowledge and support you need every step of the way.

Please Read:
This is NOT a motocross class. This is solely dedicated to new riders and/or those who have very limited experience with the basic riding fundamentals. All riders must be able to balance and ride a bicycle
Riders under the age of 18 years old must have a parent/guardian with them to sign their liability waiver forms and remain on-site during the course.
Class availability first come, first serve. You are not confirmed for the course until you receive an email confirmation from Yamaha BLU CRU.

FRIDAY (7/10)
- WOMEN LEARN TO RIDE: (ages 12+) 1pm-5pm - Lead by Female Coach!
SATURDAY (7/11)
- FAMILY/GROUP DIRT DISCOVERY: (ages 6+) 8am-12pm (min group 3 riders required)
SATURDAY (7/11)
· KIDS DIRT DISCOVERY CLASS: (ages 6-11yrs) 1pm-5pm
SUNDAY (7/12)
- ADULT DIRT DISCOVERY: (ages 12+) April 19 / Time: 9am-1pm
Dirt Discovery is an exciting, 4hr Learn‑to‑ride experience designed for adults, teens, kids, and women—no experience needed, and All Yamaha TTR Offroad Dirtbikes are provided!
Every participant is provided with a Yamaha dirt bike, so you can simply show up, relax, and enjoy the ride.
Led by supportive, Yamaha‑certified coaches, this course offers a welcoming, low‑pressure environment where new and curious riders can learn essential skills at their own pace. It’s all about having fun, building confidence, and experiencing the thrill of off‑road riding in a safe, controlled setting.
You’ll connect with others who share your sense of adventure while discovering just how enjoyable riding can be—without any of the stress!.
Course Focus:
- Responsible Riding / Basic Bike Maintenance / Importance of Safety Gear
- Proper Body Positioning
- Shifting / Standing / Turning Techniques
- Building Confidence & Character
- Small Obstacles / Hill Riding Techniques
- HAVING FUN AND CREATING LIFELONG MEMORIES AND MORE!!
What is Provided:
- Yamaha’s Premier 2026 Offroad Lineup: TT-R 50E, TT-R110E, TTR-125LE, TTR-230
- Limited loaner gear (helmets, goggles, gloves) Riders Encouraged to bring any safety gear they might already have
- Seating / shaded tent areas /drinks
- 4 hrs. of instruction
- Yamaha Swag, Yamaha Certificates, Surprise goodies,
- Memories to last a lifetime!
What to Bring/Wear
- Over-the-ankle boots with durable socks (hiking style/ No long laces)
- Durable, long-sleeved shirt and full-length pants. (no leggings)
- DOT/ Snell approved helmet *Loaners available
- Knee Pads (not mandatory)
- Goggles *Loaners available
- Full fingered gloves *Loaners available
- Well rested mind and body with an appetite for adventure and comradery
- Water/Snacks
COST: $25 Refundable Deposit
Your full deposit will be returned at the end of class in the form of a gift card.
